Well I am on Day 4 of the Beck Diet Solution - day 2 and 3 were pretty easy - no eating while standing (which is not one of my bad habits - I enjoy sitting down to eat) and picking 2 diets to follow one primary and one back-up - I am following the calorie counting and tracking on Sparkpeople and my back up will be a back up plan. Today is about giving yourself credit when you make good choices - this is not something that comes easy for me so I am doing a response card (basically an answer to the thoughts in your head that interfere with your goals)
I do not want to give myself credit because I am worried about becoming vain.
RESPONSE: You are not vain by giving yourself credit for what you do, only if you put yourself out there as better than everyone else and you will not do that.
I do not need to give myself credit for all the little things; I should just be able to do them.
RESPONSE: You give credit and compliments to your friends and family for small things and you need to treat yourself with as much respect as you do others.
