Time to make a NEW plan, Stan. No time to be coy, Roy. OK OK, I know, goofy right? But for some reason the song 50 ways to leave your lover popped into my head, thus the title to this blog was born!
I had a pretty rough week, but not because of any specific reason. In fact, I had a great time last week with my family, including my parents, and my brother. We went camping in one of my favorite places, Ouray, Colorado. I love it there! It is one of the most beautiful places in Colorado. Obviously, this was not the reason for my bad week. On vacation, sure you tend to eat a bit more, and it may not be as healthy as it should be, but really it still was fairly healthy. Unfortunately, I did not get as much exercise in as I had hoped while I was gone. We tried to go on a hike, but only got in about 30 minutes before it looked like we were going to get rained on. It definitely was not my idea of some good hiking. I had meant to bring a 10lbs. medicine ball with me, but in the rush to get everything packed. I forgot it, so I did get in a bit of ST, but not what I had planned at all. We were only gone for 2 full days, home on Saturday. I still had trouble getting back to my routine. Of course some of that had to do with the fact that my parents and brother were still vacationing with us. The other reason I am sure is that my husband returned to work again on Sunday as well. He will be gone again for another 2 weeks. This back and forth to work is really taking a toll on both of us. We totally appreciate the fact that he has a job, and a GOOD one at that. We both just wish that he didn't have to be gone SOO much!
Yesterday's food decisions were a complete disaster! I just wanted to eat and eat, and DID! Thank goodness today is a NEW day, and I can start afresh!
Here's to a brand new day, Kay and getting back on track, Jack, with a brand new plan, Stan! LOL
I have one last week of SAC3--Seasonal Accountabilty Challenge, then 2 weeks break before BLC 20. I need to stay focused!!
*30 minutes of Fitness Minutes more if possible
*8- 8 oz. glasses of water
*3 times a week ST
*EAT healthy food, not a bunch of junk
*Eat MORE veggies and fruit again
*Plan my meals, instead of waiting to the last minute
*Seek help when struggling, instead of hiding
New routine to get back into the groove to move. Old routine lost somewhere between Green River, Wyoming, and Grand Junction, Colorado. If found, please return to ME, unless a better routine is discovered. Then by all means share the NEW one with me.
I am truly hoping that once my children are back in school next week, I can find a routine that works well for me again. Since our move in June, I still have not found a great routine that works for me. I am still getting it done, but I just feel out of whack with it all. Some days it just catches up with me, and I lose it all together. By it, I mean the awesome routine I had going since January. It wasn't always the same routine, but it worked for me. The summer routine has just been too wacky for me. I guess I just need some semblance of the same in my routine. In other words, I need to consistently do certain things in my routine. For instance, I have found that working out in the morning works better for me to consistently get exercise in every day. However, during the summer things get so crazy, that I can not consistently get exercise in during the morning, so I try to get it in later in the day. Doesn't always happen, see the pattern? Anyway our school routine is back next week, so here's to hoping that my routine gets back on track, instead of so far out of whack!
