As you may know, I have an issue with "the evil inside" trying to get all bossy on me and telling me to eat at night and sometimes all night.
I have been working with this issue for some time now and think I have stumbled upon a trick that just may work.
This weekend my sister was over and we were talking about my healthy lifestyle changes and the hurdles I have come across. Of course, the main one that I am still working on, is "the evil inside" telling me to eat at night. In the morning I had told her I made a smoothie and that it lasted me for an hour or more. We had also discussed my small issue with barely making my fiber. So, she recommended that I eat a smoothie at night and add fiber to it. This would beat "the evil inside" at night and up my fiber.
So I have tried it a couple of nights since then and it really works well. I am so full by the time I am done with my smoothie, that I have no desire to get up and run to the refrigerator. I have been within my numbers so far all this week and did not exceed them due to "the evil inside". I am proud of this revelation, but also know I have a ways to go in beating this thing.
Once I can keep "the evil inside" away and get these habits changed. I will have to ponder more on WHY? What makes this evil so strong? What are my weaknesses? I know everyone is different and we all have our reasons. Once we figure out these answers, we are well on our way to never having to encounter "the evil inside", at least for each issue you encounter.
"The evil inside" will not go away until I can figure out the answers to the questions. It will move to somewhere else, but I will be ready! I am taking it slow and easy and if you think you can come and knock me down. YOU ARE WRONG!
Cause I may get knocked down, but I get up again, Your never gonna keep me down.
