I have been trying hard to follow my outline of classes today. It has brought me closer to my goals and to using Spark efficiently. Before I started both this and coaching, I was all over the place. I had no focus and often forgot to support my friends or make a blog entry. These tools are helping me follow Spark plans for each day.
I did pretty well on my nutrition today coming in at about 90% on plan. This still needs to improve but I don't ever expect to be perfect. That is a difficult thing for me as I have always followed the all or nothing standard. Spark is helping me to learn moderation in all things.
It has been much cooler here in the past week and looks to continue to stay cooler. It is right on average daily highs for this time of year. I really hope the hot humid weather is over with now. We have been having the odd rainy day as well and now the grass is green again and fire bans have been lifted.
I gained weight this past week, 1.6 lbs. It was difficult to be on program when at someone elses home. I eat what I am served. I also made some poor choices when I had a chance to make good ones.
I did not exercise again today. SInce I broke my toe I was thinking that I can't go for walks BUT there are lots of other things I can do. Yoga in a seated position, stretching and chair exercises. Tomorrow I will investigate the chair exercise team and see if I can figure out what to do.
I have managed to cut back my diet soda to 2 bottles a day. I was at 3 or 4 so I am making progress. I now have cans so I can drink 1 or 2 cans a day instead of the 710ml bottles I had. It is half as much at a time. I am finally getting all my water in each day and am happy about that.
