First of all I want to say thanks for all the positive encouragement from yesterday! I just read them and I am pleased that I was able to motivate somebody. I need to be less hard on myself and not judge myself against others. I am sorry for all the negativity yesterday, but I felt like I just had to vent.

I just wanted to update on what happened after I posted yesterday. I got a phone call from the library and the sparkpeople cookbook that I had put on reserve was in! So instead of taking the car to the library, I decided to bike instead. It is only a half mile from my house, so I don't want to count it as exercise, because it was such a short distance. Even though it was a short distance, I am glad that I was able to get out of the house and do something physical.

Last night I planned out three dinners with my mother and went shopping with my dad today. I think that I need to start eating a regular planed beforehand lunch. I generally wake up late and have a late breakfast and skip lunch and have dinner early. I also could eat a healthier breakfast.

I am really looking forward to tonight, and nervous as well. I am going to work out with my friends that I mentioned yesterday.

    I think I'd probably count the bike ride as exercise. You rode a mile round trip and if it's not something that you normally do, then I'd count it!

    Hmmm...we all take slightly different approaches don't we.

    I count all exercise, even the walk to the post box. I'm really rigerous with my food counting too.

    We all need to let things out now and again. We can handle it.

    Be sure to write down or make copies of some of the recipes you're most interested in long before you have to return it to the library. Hope you enjoy diving into trying new foods/recipes!

    great recovery. You should check out,The Spark by Chris Downie and Choose to lose :the 7 day carb cycle by Chris Powell. Both are interesting snd beneficial.
