How to not get derailed...

Tuesday, August 14, 2012

Well, yesterday was SUPPOSED to be Day 1 for the husband and I... but he has been so stressed at work that he didn't start... I'm a bit frustrated and I ate an extra fudgescicle because of it (a whole 40 calories, so I'll survive)! Fortunately, I had intentionally not bought anything else that I would normally go to when grocery shopping this weekend (YEA!).

So, for me, yesterday was good. I hit the middle of my calorie range - high on protein, low on fat... nothing to complain about there. I also went for a 1 mile walk at lunch and did Week 3 Day 3 of C25K last night. emoticon I was certainly more sluggish running though - I think 3 days in a row is a bit much for me right now. Fortunately, today was a planned no running day - but I do get to go play soccer with my 3 year old (it's called Smart Start and the parents are the team & coaches... very fun). emoticonSo I will get in some movement and activity, just not running per se.

Due to frustration last night, I didn't get my lunch packed for today, so this morning was a bit hectic - as I made myself lunch (YEAH!)... so that I wouldn't cave to evil temptations today.

Oh, forgot to mention, Sunday I took all my measurements again (been a lot of months since I did that) - and it was motivating (or frustrating, depending on the moment). emoticon
So, I have all my baselines, I have the groceries I need and I've started the momentum. I am not giving up. I will get rid of this 10-20 pounds and KEEP them off.
