I am holding myself accountable

Tuesday, August 14, 2012

Feeling good and full of energy. I have been slacking tremendously on my workouts and healthy eating. A lot probably had to do with the fact I was sick for a few days and that summer has been so busy. I am not meeting my shortterm goals. I don't feel as if I am trying the way I want to be or should be. Tomorrow will mark 3 weeks until school starts. I want to loss 5 lbs by then. I really have to buckle down and get back to what I was doing before. My ST has just gone out the window. I know what I am doing wrong and it is up to me to fix it. It is going to be hard to get back the motivation that I am losing, but I have fought back before and know I can do this again!

Have a great day everyone!

No worries...I had a time I was "off and on" too. Then I moved to more on than off. THAT is where I have been this year. Ironically I wrote TODAY about being consistent not as a choice BUT "the only way" to reach goals. So I UNDERSTAND how you feel.
I really believe these steps are PART OF THE PROCESS toward adopting a new lifestyle. We must learn and master the key elements. Figure out our triggers. Set ourselves up for succeess no matter where we are and what the situation. All of those things TAKE TIME and PRACTICE.
Keep sparking...your not alone.

So that's where you have been. I was looking for you and your updates, after all you have been the one I was trying to catch in fitness minutes. So, now that you have been gone I just want to say, "tag, you're it." I am now ahead of you in spark minutes by about 200.

Glad you are back, glad you are feeling better!

Accountability is a huge step to progress. You are going to be just fine. Heads up, don't look back, only forward. We cannot change the past, but we can control most factors in our future!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon

I am exactly in the same boat! My vacation has completely derailed my efforts. BUT, we will both get back on track!
