feeling good all the way around

Monday, August 13, 2012

Somehow the tides have turned............... not sure what = not sure why = not sure how = and not sure if its sustainable................. but my outlook on life in general is better - Im getting things done that have long been on the to do list = Im getting back out socially a bit more - and Im starting the battle to eliminate some body fat................ and the scale is moving down again.

For awhile it seemed like I felt like that feather in the Forrest Gump movie. Oh you know the one at the end ------ just kind of floating thru......................

Now I seem more directed and renewed. And it feels great.

Hoping things are good for everyone.

Im finding 30 minutes everyday to walk/run. Still on an upbeat note....... actually back out doing ballroom dancing. WOW-------------- and loving it.

I packed on some fat inches.................. looked at myself in those full length mirrors at the dance club - and thought YIKES............ when did i get wide again?

I know what you mean! When the scale started going down, my confidence began going up. My socializing began going up. My "care a little more" attitude started going up. Just started feeling so much better about everything. Then was able to start purchasing a few new clothing items, I just care more now about so many more things than I did before.

You are doing awesome!

Jazz, Good for you! I knew you could do it. I reached my weight loss goal last week, and then went on vacation for a week. Now I have to get back on track. You helped motivate me a lot in your role as team leader. Thanks! emoticon

I understand the feelings, up and down, up and down. It's tough to maintain an even keel. I like whatPatruck 42 said about remembering by writing. Maybe the momentum will grab hold and your feather will find its direction!

Good luck!!

So inspirational! Keep up the good work! Think about how good you felt to day, drink it in, remember it, write it down....on PAPER
Next time you're down, pull out the paper & REMEMBER how you felt!
