Actually, that wouldn't help because I have my CC number memorized!!!

Went on another shopping spree today. Really, all I needed was a blazer for the upcoming school year, because I'll be applying for jobs and need to look all grownup-like. emoticon But there was this really cute dress on Forever21, and then I'd been meaning to buy wedges, and then I needed to spend at least $50 on non-clearance items to qualify for 10% off and free shipping and then... you know the drill.

Item #1: Black "Classic Woven Blazer"

This is the only item I actually needed... but it didn't meet the minimum purchase amount for free shipping.




Item #2: Ditsy Heart Shirtdress in Navy/Cream

I've REALLY been wanting a shirtdress for the last year or so...




Item #3: Sleeveless Open-Back Shirtdress

No, really. I've REALLY been wanting a shirtdress. And so I bought TWO. ARHGHGHGHGH. It doesn't come with the belt or necklace, but maybe I'll pick those up later when I'm actually receiving a paycheck instead of blowing through and beyond my summer stipend..... emoticon



Item #4: Wedge Platforms

They were on clearance! And had such great reviews! And I've been meaning to get some wedges for over a year, and I have so many dresses and pants to wear with them. Aggggggh!




Okay, NO MORE CLOTHES SHOPPING until I start getting paid again. It used to be that I could go over a year without shopping for any new clothes, but recently I've started feeling even less confident than usual about my appearance and more self-conscious. There's this voice telling me that I "need" to wear dresses and girly clothes to be pretty and to offset all those years I dressed as a tomboy. emoticon

Bah... sorry for the rant. I have some lingering mental issues from my teenage years that I never fully got over.

    Oh my goodness I am no support here because you totally bought super cute stuff! Who could knock you for that?! I totally agree with the other commenters - you'll look totally cute and fresh and you'll feel great! Sometimes a little retail therapy can go a long way!
