So, I struggled in California. I ate gluten and sugar, probably about once per day (sometimes more than one treat per day). Now, it's time to recommit.
My trainer tells me to put a post-it note in a prominent place and use that to remind myself that I am sugar/gluten free. I have to redo my post-it note as of today, August 13, 2012. My weight is fluctuating between 145-150, and I know what I need to do.
No sugar, no gluten! It might not work for everyone, but this is what works for me. After my sugar-free experiment, I firmly believe that this is the only way I can lose. My body has gotten to that point, after the weight fluctuations due to my eating disorder.
Now that I am home again, it will be easier to follow this plan.
By the way, I am eating meat again. I think the protein and other nutrients from the meat help me to stay full, so that I don't have to eat gluten/sugar to keep my energy going.
I see my trainer for the first time in two months on Wednesday...let's go!
