Inches still changed in spite of nothing else moving, so I'll accept that. Not too bad of a week, overall. Alex and I did go out to a pub in the area we haven't been to before, and due to indecision about what we wanted to eat, we got a sampler platter. It pretty much includes a couple of most of the appetizers. I took one of everything that sounded good to me, so I ended up with a chicken finger, an Irish spring roll, a curry roll, and half of a vegetable samosa, plus some sweet potato fries. The only thing I really enjoyed was the curry roll, it was the only thing that actually tasted like food. Unsurprisingly, it was also the only thing on the plate that wasn't deep fried (it was grilled). I felt like such crap after we finished eating and had a horrible case of gut rot all through the next day. I hardly ever eat really greasy food like that, and I can guaran-damn-tee that I'm not going to put myself through that again. Alex didn't fare any better, but I can see why. He ate everything I did, plus the crab cakes and all the calamari (both of which were also deep fried) and most of the fries. We made a pact to never do that again. Bleh!

Positives this week:
emoticon Went to a party at my mum's place and did not overeat or drink too much. I brought a few ciders for myself to have and limited myself to one hamburger and lots of salad (there was five or six of them available, so lots of options!)
emoticon When I did snack at her party, which I did, I demolished the veggie tray someone had brought and completely avoided the chips/Cheetos/etc that everyone else was eating

Things to work on:
emoticon I'm getting lazy again, need to cut that crap out
