Perhaps I should have entered myself under the "Maintaining" section, but I had high hopes. Let's talk numbers for a moment.
146 - My current weight. My weight for most of this challenge. The weight I got down to before I started my family. This used to be my lowest weight while married.
142 - Before some stresses this spring, I was able to maintain this weight for about six months.
139 - My lowest weight as an adult. I hit this weight last fall (again, due to stresses) but only maintained it for about a month.
Conclusion: I believe my maintenance weight is probably between 140-145 right now. That means I will work really hard to lose ONE pound during this week so I can at least hit my range.
One more number: 149. This is the weight that I hit a couple weeks ago (more stupid stresses!) that frightened me. I never want to see the 150s again, and getting that close was a definite wake-up call. At the very least, I was able to get back down to 146.
Special thanks to the Starfish team. Your constant network of support has gotten me through some very difficult times and will continue to get me through the next ones. Thank you for knowing that weight loss, fitness, and nutrition are not a competition, and that our amazing race around the world has been a journey about health and wellness.
