Excited for tomorrow

Sunday, August 12, 2012

I can't believe it! It's Sunday night and I am anxious to get to work tomorrow. I decided to get a bigger aquarium for my goldfish at work and have it all ready to go. When I get there I'll fill it with water and get the filter going. Then on Tuesday I'll transfer Emily to her new home. I plan on putting the aquarium down where the kids can see it. I already have 7-8 pounds of gravel in it and then when I get the 5 gallons of water in it I think it will be heavy enough so the kids can't knock it over. Then I may get a new friend for her. She's a fantail goldfish so maybe a black one.

My husband brought up the idea of a cruise for our 5 year anniversary. That gives us 3 years to save enough to be able to have a nice room and do some shore excursions. We went on a cruise for our honeymoon and my husband needed to go on a shore excursion at each port, which was nice, but I would have been happy sitting on the beach. I have a fascination with the ocean and would love to just spend time on the beach looking at ocean life. We did swim with dolphins, which was a dream come true for me. This time I hope to play with the stingrays.

I am trying to make kale chips in my dehydrator. I hope they taste better than they smell. Kale has always reminded me of seaweed and the smell isn't helping. I also had to get more zucchini when we went shopping. My husband likes it. My husband who thinks he only needs bread and meat likes zucchini. He liked the zucchini chips more than I did this morning.

Being coffee/artificial sweetener/caffeine free for the past few days has really helped with my mood. I've been in a good mood all weekend so hopefully I'm onto something emoticon

I doubt if the kids will knock it over, those things weigh a ton!! I'm so happy that your felling better ..... and saving for a cruise!!! very cool!!
How did the kale chips turn out? I bought some last night .... think I will make them tomorrow. I do mine in the oven and they are only in there for a few minutes so they don't smell.
Hope your having a great week!
