You have to pack your bags! You can't be leaving out on your weight loss journey without the tools for success.
Along with the tools that SparkPeople offer us, we also need to be sure that we have the right foods available for us to eat properly. You can't stock up on chips and cookies and think that you are ready for the journey. Maybe it is time to take assessment of your kitchen cupboards. Do you have the right foods? Where could you make changes? Is it time to overhaul your kitchen?
Fitness, yes you have to exercise on this journey!! Maybe you are like me and you don't like exercise. You still have to do it! I like it so much more now. I love the way I feel and I REALLY love my increased energy level! Are you prepared for fitness? Do you have the proper shoes? Yes, you need good shoes or your feet and the rest of your body will suffer. You don't have to invest thousands of dollars to exercise. I started with dancing. The only thing I needed for that was music and some room to move.
Pack your bags! Use the tools. Ask for help if you need it. Get involved in some teams. Make your Spark page public so people can support you. You are not only shutting people out but you are shutting yourself in. Blog - it is so helpful! You don't have to be long winded like me! lol You don't have to do a video unless that is what you want to do. Try it, you might surprise yourself!
You are so right about the food tracker! I started recording here because my little notebook ran out of pages. The online tracker is so much better! I can see where I'm out of line in so many categories.
So so true! Many people here are just "Lookie Loos" and don't dig in and get dirty here. There is so so much to keep you going on the right path!! I think I have over-packed my bags some days... Great job on touching on most of the wonderful things offered here and they are all..... " F R E E "!!!
