It's time to become a morning person!

The bf and I both hold our fitness as a high priority, but our current system of evening workouts just isn't cutting it; our energy levels fluctuate too much from day to day, and it's really hit or miss ... so we have both agreed to start going first thing in the morning, before our classes this fall semester.

Classes don't begin for another week and a half, but this schedule begins at 6:30 AM starting TOMORROW, just to get in the habit, and to KICK THIS PLATEAU'S BUTT.

Weekday Schedule (Mon-Fri)

Early Morning:
6:30 AM - Wake Up
6:35 AM - Breakfast (1/4 cup steel cut oats with berries & almond milk)
6:40 AM -
*Pack Post-Workout Snack (Protein-Shake + Fruit/Veg),
*Grab Pre-Packed Lunch + Afternoon Snack from the Fridge,
*Fill Water Bottle
6:45 AM - Leave Apartment, Drive to the Gym

At the Gym:
7:00 AM - 7:10 AM - Warmup (Brisk Cardio)
7:10 AM - 7:30 AM - Workouts (more details to come in WUB)
7:30 AM - 7:40 AM - Stretch
7:40 AM - 8:25 AM - Shower at gym, Get Dressed, Hair and Makeup
8:25 AM - Leave Gym, Drive to Apartment, Eat Protein Shake and Fruit

School:
8:40 AM - 9:05 AM - Walk to Class (1.5 mile)
9:10 AM - 11:20 AM - Class
11:20 AM - 11:30 AM - Lunch
11:30 AM - 1:50 PM - Study
1:50 PM - 5:20 PM - Class / Study / Afternoon Snack
5:20 PM - Ride Home

Home:
5:30 PM - 6:00 PM - Cook Dinner and Pack Lunch
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM - Quality Time w/ Boyfriend
8:00 PM - 10:00 PM - Study
10:00 PM - Sleep

Bonus:
----------
Wed: Aquatic Yoga class in the evening. We will probably eat out (healthy) this day to accomodate.

Weekend:
-----------
Sat: Running intervals outside if I am up to it. I may need to use this as a rest day for a while to start, but I will build back up to it as my fitness improves.

Sun: Rest and Stretch. Clean one thing in the apartment. Study.

This schedule is somewhat rough, but doable... I am positive that this will be great for my workout consistency once I am used to it: this way there will be NO excuses and it is DONE and out of my mind for the rest of the day so I can focus on school. It also keeps me from overtraining, since I need to be able to walk to class and around campus after my workout.

Starting tonight I am going to begin sleeping in my workout clothes (as Coach Nicole suggests!) and I will need to pre-pack my gym bags, lunches, and breakfasts. Also, I am going to use a permanent locker at the gym to store shampoo, straightening iron, makeup, etc for easy access, so I don't need to worry about items melting or freezing in the back of my car.

So excited!!!! I am going to make so much progress this fall!
