Meal prep

I'm going to try to do some batch cooking this weekend so that I can make my own TV dinners. I have to take my lunch to work and this will save time in the morning if they are already prepared. I'm getting a little tired of salads.

    I read the comments before i went to the store. I was standing in the check out when a little voice said "you forgot to get fruit for dessert". I went to the produce areas and the pears were actually speaking to me :) Thanks all for the support!

    I made Morning Glory muffins (from Drop 5lbs show on Cooking Network) and Simple quinoa for the week.

    Go for it! I LOVE batch cooking, as it makes my weekdays easier and it makes staying within my appropriate food choices a snap.

    Great idea. I used to do this all the time. And when I didn't have time I would just double my nightly cooking to have left overs for lunches. You will appreciate the time spent doing this.....especially because after awhile salads get boring. emoticon Don't forget a fruit for dessert.
