Today is my wedding anniversary (28 years!) Got up this morning and my husband had already left this morning to go fishing. However, he left a beautiful bouquet of flowers and two cards in the kitchen for me! We have plans to go out to dinner at the restaurant where we had our wedding reception. I am looking forward to that. I am a really lucky gal. Sure it hasn't been all rosey these past 28 years. All relationships take work and can easily get on your nerves... lol... However, I am blessed to have a husband that truly does love me and is committed to me! He still tells me he loves me and that i am beautiful (even though i know i am not as beautiful when we first married). But even though i know i am not the young beautiful gal, those words make me feel beautiful -- especially coming from him. It makes me feel grateful for him -- a partner that knows how special it makes me feel to hears positive words (even though deep inside i know he is just being loving). I love him and will forever thank my God in providing me with a mate that has given me love, comfort, peace, guidance, security and much more. Happy Anniversary Honey! :)
