In an effort to celebrate my successes along my journey of weight loss I have been reflecting on what changes I have noticed.
Ever notice when you lose weight people want to know how you did it ( like there is a magic pill) and what changes I have noticed.
Anyways on reflection I have noticed a lot of changes that are not just my looks(but I am very happy with how I look to).
The biggest change I have noticed is the lack of pain!! I use to ache a lot, my back, my knees, my feet, my shoulders, etc. Now I wake up and and very easily get out of bed. Another change was how I wake up. I use to hit snooze half a dozen times, and dragged my body down the hall for a hot shower. Now I wake up turn off the alarm and get out of bed for my morning yoga session. I no longer require three to four coffees to get going.
Walking upstairs was comsidered high energy cardio, now it just how I get from one floor to another. Its just a part of my new lifestyle.
Another change I have noticed is a lot more energy which is helping my house stay cleaner, my exercises getting done daily,getting my grass cut, having a lot of extra time (well no longer vegging on a coach for four to five hours a day will help.)
I have noticed my thinking process has changed a lot. I feel a lot more positive and happy. I look forward to trying new things instead of obsessing on why I can't do something.
Overall I just feel like I deserve better, which is a huge change for me. We do deserve better but its up to us to believe it and CHOOSE to do something about it.
Today I choose to eat right, go for a bike ride, lift some weights and enjoy my yoga. I choose to push myself so things will get easier.
