Good bye to a special pony

Friday, August 10, 2012

I just learned that today the pony that my DD rode on July 1st in the Prince Phillip Games (Pony Club) lay down in his field and passed away. He was 35 1/2.

I was very lucky to be able to have had DD ride this little guy. He gave her confidence and taught so many little kids the ropes.

Heaven's stable just got a new member and he will be greatly welcomed there.

Sneakers & my DD riding in support of the fight against breast cancer last September.

How sad! That is really a ripe old age for an equine though, as I am sure you know. Glad that your DD got to ride him and learn from him, as did many other children, I am sure!

He is grazing in the belly high grass just over the Rainbow Bridge! emoticon

How sad! Horses like that are worth their weight in gold.

How sad to hear, my sympathies, it's tough to loose anyone, sometimes especially one of our animals

Losing any animal is not an easy thing. They share so much of our life, and are always there when we need them. I'm so sorry for your loss, and hope that Sneakers went to horsey heaven peacefully.
A nice picture of Sneakers & your daughter. emoticon

I'm so sorry for your loss. You have a lot of beautiful memories with Sneakers. That is a beautiful picture with your daughter. It sounds like Sneakers had a good life - lots of children and adults loved him.
