My Healthy Eating Plan!

OK..I can lose weight and have done fine with that but in all honesty it has not always been healthy. I realized I have poor eating habits...partly now because I live alone and hate to cook for just me..and partly because I can't seem to figure out a way to get enough nutrients.

I bought a nutra bullet...special type blender than mixes peel, seeds, etc into your smoothie...more nutrition that way. Bought my fruits and veggies..my my it is so expensive to eat healthy. Made my first smoothie...used spinach greens, strawberries, blackberries, blueberries and a bit of protein powder...yum yum and it is sooo filling!

They have a 6 week program that you can do and boy it is super healthy. I plan to follow it and see how I feel at the end... my only cheat will be my 100 calorie starbucks coffee in the am and maybe a soft drink occasionally as I have not yet quit that bad habit.

I hope to be posting soon that my fibro is better and that I am feeling more energized and healthier at the end if this 6 week journey. Can't wait to discover all the good for you foods out there that I haven't tried yet. Wish me luck in my health quest!

    An old blog, but I missed it. But I'm here now! I love my NutriBullet too! I can't go a day without one. You make yours like I make mine. I use flaxseed, chia, walnuts, hemp oil, greens, some fruit, whey powder and sometimes milk. Not all at once LOL. Depends on what you're in the mood for at the moment, or what you need.
So happy for you for making all that weight disappear!! GO GIRL!!

    I have been drinking smoothies all summer. I am feeling better and lost some pounds, too. I try to include more veggies than fruits. emoticon Chris

    Sarah ...so happy for your new adventure...Share recipes often...I keep hearing this word smoothie and have the capability with my vitamix if I would just do it... with our big garden and farmer's markets i have access to lots of produce free or cheap but just can't convince myself to go the smoothie route ..Take us by the hand and teach us as you go. Hugs!!!

    You really do need to eat healthy! I cook large amounts and freeze what's left in 1 cup plastic containers. Then those days when I don't feel like cooking, I can nuke a couple of those. Soups, casseroles, etc. work really well for those! Take care of you!

my sister walks 15,000 steps a day at 63 years old and has lost 100 pounds.

i gave up grain and sugary products and have lost 44 pounds at age 60.

we are both still loosing weight until we reach our goal.
