What I learned last month...

Last month I realized I was within stiking distance of 1,000 fitness minutes for the first time in months. I had been sick for pretty much the month of May, and just haven't gotten fully back. So I decided to try to make the last 400 minutes in 6 days. I didn't make it - life got in the way, but what I did manage was a new personal best workout. And I also learned that you do need a day of rest. It seems to have given me the boost I need as far as fitness.. I am doing much better this month, and KNOW that I will make my 1,000 minutes this month. And I am already in better shape than I was a month ago. Some of those exercises I do at the gym are darn hard, and I have gotten better at them. How did I forget that you only get out what you put in?

    It is discouraging to be sidelined by illness or injury.

    Sometimes its hard to get back on track after.

    You will see more progress the longer your consistently exercising. Looking back on where you were weeks ago can really keep you committed to your workout!
