I Hate Exercise.

I do hate exercise. Always have. But, I am enjoying trying new things.

I'm finding some things wretchedly impossible to get along with (TRX), some I like more then others (Kettlebells was okay). I'm just waiting for that magical day when I'm swept off my feet and fall in love with something. I know it's out there - the perfect form of physical activity for me that will change my life forever and we'll live together in endless bliss, happily ever after.

Running has been a fun old friend, easy to get along with, low drama. The 28 day Sparkpeople Challenge has been interesting. Some days more challenging than others, but never too imposing. But I need a rush of excitement!

    Ah - I would probably like kickboxing. I have Wii Fit Plus and enjoy the boxing module on there...something to put on my list of things to try!

    Kickboxing is my absolute favorite way to exercise. It's very cathartic and a big stress reliever - it's also very high energy and tons of fun. emoticon emoticon emoticon

    My husband loves his bike. I don't have a bike, but I've tried his - which may be why I didn't dig it as much as he does. He's 6 feet tall, and I'm 5'3", so maybe it was just the aspect of awkwardness that left me feeling less then enthused. I can't see myself rock climbing at the moment - but I'll keep that one in my back pocket. JOYFUL62 - I think I'm with you; maybe it's just the process of trying new things that I'm going to fall in love with. : ) I took a tap dancing class in college and loved that. Still have my shoes, in fact. Maybe I'll see if there are any local adult classes I can take this winter.

    Personally I find that it isn't one thing - it is the fun of trying new things. I always hated exercise in the past, but am finding I am enjoying it more now that I am constantly changing things up. I guess I get bored easily.

    Have you ever tried rock climbing. Went with my son to an indoor gym and that was a lot of fun. He is much more intense with it and has been to climbing competitions in other states (climbing outdoors - which I think would be a blast but I am just not in good enough shape for yet).

    I love getting out on my mountain bike! You actually see more than you did the past 5 years driving by the same place. It makes a great conversation piece for me and my hubby while we are out riding. emoticon

    Yes you do need that rush! But stay active until you do because when you find something you really enjoy it will be even better if you're in decent shape!
