Cardio Recovery is like a breath of fresh air that still makes you tired! Spent the whole day up and down a ladder doing some painting of a new office space I designed. I like to get my hands dirty...and paint on my chest (that's what's in the pics that looks like some very intense rash). Very orange paint!

Workout was good, easy. I find it to be kinda boring, to be honest. I would rather do a yoga class, which I may start doing in the future. I usually do yoga on Wednesday nights. I might just call that my recovery and go for a run or something on Thursdays that I really enjoy.

PDXers are running a day behind so they will miss out on Sunday rest. My brother had someone tell him that he looked great, they could tell he was losing weight, so that's awesome. I am happy for him. I am not seeing the changes in myself so much but I am hopeful.

I am 11 days away from my weigh in on 8/20 (I said 9/20 before but that's almost at the end of my program). I am looking forward to it for sure. I am also checking in to see when I can get a body fat test around that time. My birthday is about a month after that and I want to see if I can get from 18% body fat (what I was a few months ago) to 10-13% body fat by then. I am not that far away, pounds wise, so I think it is doable. I get tested with the real deal water dunk tank thing at a mobile test event for like $50! www.bodyfattest.com

Ok, that's it. I had a question about my dogs so I am including a pic with the bigger one since he is rarely wondering around in the background. His name is Scudder. The little b/w one is called Bixby.

Thanks for reading! Oh, and tomorrow (the things says this is happening on Friday but it's Thursday here) is 3 years since the day I went to my first yoga class and met my now boyfriend, who was teaching it. He invited me after we had talked online...I showed up, and no one else did. Can you imagine how terrified I was?? I was about 40lbs heavier then too so even more petrified of what I could or couldn't do with my body! Anyway, it's worked out for the best... :)
