About Switzerland fifth part.

Thursday, August 09, 2012

Hello dear Sparkers!
Today we are leaving the wondeful town of Luzern and go find the Emmenthal land!

Sitting at a train station with the company of a bronze-lady!

Et voila!!!

The incredible city of Bern, the capital of the federation, recognized by UNESCO as a cultural heritage.

The main road with one of the remarkable fountains of the city.

The famous clock tower also at the main road.

The City Hall dated 1700 AD.

The marvelous river Aare, the longest of Switzerland.

Under the bridge is the most ancient part of the city.

The headquarters of the Federation.

The hotel in Muri bei Bern.

My delicius Cordon Bleu.

The view from my window.

It was a wonderful and very very long day. Tomorrow we are going to Interlaken. It s the last day of our trip.
Let s get a nice sleep!!
Good night Sparkers. emoticon

    So pretty!

It is amazing how much smaller (more sensible!) the portions are in the restaurant picture compared to restaurants here in the US.
