I have heard this saying so often over the last few years.
Whenever I have set my goals in the past they have always been: When I lose 5 lbs I get this…. Sometimes this works and sometimes it doesn’t.
And then this brick hit me. I always set my goals with the end game in mind, however this time is different. I have decided to reward my day to day journey, knowing full well that if I do this, I will obtain my end result and that is a reward in and of itself. So after 14 days of daily tracking I am losing weight and I am lowering my sugars! When I have obtained 30 days of daily tracking I get a long overdue massage!
I can’t really control how much weight I lose and when, but I can control my day to day actions like tracking my food intake on Sparkpeople.
