Discouraged

I'm starting my day off with Sparkpeople. I have a full day ahead of me. I'm going to eat and then go for a 3 mile walk. After that I will be boxing around 300 bows. That should take me most of the rest of the day. I'm getting a little discouraged with my weight loss. I lost about 4 lbs. right off the bat, probably water weight, and now I am not even budging an ounce. it's been quite a few days now of no weight loss at all. I'm walking most days and really trying to stick to my calories and am trying to balance everything out on the food tracker. I'm not sure what else to do. Sparkpeople has always worked the best for me, because it's not a diet. It's just healthy eating and I generally lose weight.

    It is easy to get discouraged when you expect to see the scale move down at a certain rate and is doesn't. Hang in there! If you are accurately tracking your food and exercising, the scale will move down eventually. In the mean time, celebrate that you are doing wonderful things to become healthy! emoticon

    You know that every step you take and every healthy choice you make is taking you in the right direction. The scale will follow eventually, but it is not what's important. Your health, your appearance, your happiness... those are the things that matter. You will see those changes, even if the scale takes longer to catch up. Hang in there:)

    Ok, one get over it. Two, be PROUD that you are heading towards health!! And three, believe that everything will happen if you stay on track. Even if you don't, you are educating and changing one little baby step at a time. It takes me MONTHS to lose a few pounds, which I promptly gain back in a few days of bad eating, but, I don't stop. I feel better, I have more energy, my skin looks better. Do I want to weigh less, hell yeah, but it never has and never will be my primary goal. So keep truckin Girlfriend, you can do this. HUGS!!
