Yesterday if you look at my food tracker you would probably think "WOW, what exactly was she thinking!" Well, I was getting a bit discouraged with going a little over my calorie count each day so I decided to have one test day, and it was quite an eye opener.

I went ahead and ate ANYTHING that I wanted/craved like I use to. I knew that I was eating fewer calories than I was before but WOW. I went about 1200 calories over my calorie count and MAN were they bad choices LOL. I'm surprised I'm not fatter! I use to do basically no exercise (unless you count getting up to go to the rest room or get something to eat).

Now I am not that worried if I really don't lose weight this month. Oh sure I would like to but if I don't I'm not worried about it. I am making sure I am starting to move more and getting all my water in. Those two things are a good start on my goal to a healthy lifestyle. I refuse to have an all or nothing mentality anymore. I figure I am going to pick 3 new habits to work on each month. A month long will help make it a habit and then I will just build on it each month. It may take awhile to make progress but that is perfectly fine with me!

    Ihave done that so many times but by tracking every bite, it makes me see reality and question the next time I do it. emoticon

    I love how real you are in your blogs. No down crying yourself, or beating yourself up. Just say it as it is and what plans you are going to use to combat it. Love it.

    Go for it!

If working on three new habits a month works for you ~ then DO IT! This weight loss journey is not a "one journey fits all" type of thing. We need to remember to do what works best for us!
