Yesterday if you look at my food tracker you would probably think "WOW, what exactly was she thinking!" Well, I was getting a bit discouraged with going a little over my calorie count each day so I decided to have one test day, and it was quite an eye opener.
I went ahead and ate ANYTHING that I wanted/craved like I use to. I knew that I was eating fewer calories than I was before but WOW. I went about 1200 calories over my calorie count and MAN were they bad choices LOL. I'm surprised I'm not fatter! I use to do basically no exercise (unless you count getting up to go to the rest room or get something to eat).
Now I am not that worried if I really don't lose weight this month. Oh sure I would like to but if I don't I'm not worried about it. I am making sure I am starting to move more and getting all my water in. Those two things are a good start on my goal to a healthy lifestyle. I refuse to have an all or nothing mentality anymore. I figure I am going to pick 3 new habits to work on each month. A month long will help make it a habit and then I will just build on it each month. It may take awhile to make progress but that is perfectly fine with me!
