Well today was a little victory for me. I went to workout and did my longest workout yet. Let me start from the beginning, I woke up at 10 this morning and had breakfast. I didn't really feel like working out, but I knew that I had to. I got my dad to drive me to the bus at Bayshore Mall and I caught the green line headed downtown. I belong to Planet Fitness because the membership costs only $10 a month, which I can afford, but the location is really inconvenient to me. The bus ride from Bayshore mall is half an hour from my house and I tend to get tension headaches whenever I do anything on the bus, like read or knit or whatever. I realized when I was on the bus that I forgot to pack a change of underwear or my workout bra. I was full of excuses, but I sucked it up and went to workout anyway.
I biked on the stationary bike for 35 min. and went 7 miles. After going on the bike machine I didn't want to end it so I went on the treadmill and walked for 30 min at 2.5 and went 1 mile. After working out I went to the shower room and weighed myself, I was really afraid that I had gained a lot of weight from vacation, like 4-6 lbs, but I had only gained 2! I always weigh myself on wednesday at Planet fitness before I shower when I am naked. I skipped last week for obvious reasons.
After I worked out I went to the Milwaukee public library and got a few books out. I wanted to check out the Sparkpeople cookbook, but the 3 copies they had were checked out. I reserved one and can't wait till it is returned so I can check it out. It started to drizzle when I was waiting at the bus stop. I took the bus back to Bayshore and my dad picked me up and took me home. He picked me up at 6:30ish and I went home and snacked. Today was my mom's first day back at school, so we aren't eating until 8pm at least. I over ate today, I was surprised by how many calories I ate. I am glad that I am not putting pressure on myself yet, I think that by just seeing what I am eating I can change it better. For dinner tonight I am going to make sloppy joe's for dinner with a recipe I got from SP. I am looking forward to getting back to cooking again.
Well that was my day up to now. I don't know what I want to do tomorrow yet, it is supposed to be raining a lot, so I might not go downtown, but I want to workout, so I hope I can go.
