Today I woke up exhausted. I had over seven hours of sleep but i just feel like my brain is drained. I live a pretty busy day to day life and this week I was asked to do a near impossible task for work in a short time period. When I say impossible Im talking a "Devil Wears Prada" type of task. One that can take weeks to accomplish if it is your only task but of course I must still continue all my other work duties, summer class preparation for a final at the end of the week, make healthy food choices, and workout. AHHHHH!!! see what I mean? Stressful

I fought off devouring cookies last night for dinner and opted for a homeade shrimp stirfry. This morning I wasn't so good. This morning for breakfast I had..... A bag of doritos. The calorie count was over 500 :/ I don't know if I regret it, it definetly didn't make me feel better but it is what it is. I will make smarter choices the rest of the day but I am SO ready for this week to be over.

    Chips are my weakness! It's so difficult to avoid them when I feel stressed out (which seems like all the time). I'm learning how not to beat myself up over my slips and not use them as an excuse to eat even worse. I'm also practicing "eating like a hobbit" by having multiple small meals throughout the day at specific times. It seems to be helping!

    Work will do that to you! My analytical self gets confused when I go for more than 3 hours without food. But if I eat every 3 hours - it adds up too quick *sigh*.

I just had to step out from work @ 4pm to get some fuel to make it through.

Work comes first - if you are paying the bills. But I try to have healthy food at my side. But nothing beats caffeine and sugar help get thru the work day.

Glad you are cognisant of what you are going thru. :)

I haven't been to the gym for a few days but I will go back tonight.

You are doing good. And school too. wow :) good job

    Sounds like you need to set up a reward for finishing this work project on time. Maybe after it is submitted, you could promise yourself a yoga class or a long walk or a skinny cocktail lol. Good Luck and keep trying to get those good decisions in where you can. Don't beat yourself up over the Dorito thing. It happens sometimes.
