I've been proud of myself for walking briskly 15 min. every day, doing 1/2 hour of yoga each morning and Jazzercising 3 days a week for one hour each day. However, I'm learning a little more humility, because as I started my walk on Monday, I accidentally tripped as I stepped out the front door and fell. I landed on the palms of both hands and on one knee. I then got up and continued my walk and later went to Jazzercise class. I didn't realize till I got home from Jazzercise that I had sprained my wrist and scraped my knee. I used ice and ibuprofen for the sprained wrist and put antiseptic cream on my scraped knee. Today the swelling in both places has gone and I'm feeling fine. I'm so grateful that Sparkpeople has helped me stay healthy with strong bones and muscles, so the fall didn't cause any permanent damage and I resolve to "watch my step" and not let my pride go before any more falls.
