Twice recently, I planned ahead when going out to eat to make sure I would make healthy choices, and then on a whim ordered something else that wasn't so healthy at the last minute. I did this with so little thought it's scary. Both times the food didn't really agree with me and I ended up with heartburn and guilt. Learn from your mistakes, right? I'm meeting some friends for dinner tonight at a place I wouldn't have chosen, but they do have their menu on-line and I plan to try again to plan ahead and this time STICK TO MY HEALTHY CHOICES. Eating out can really be difficult, especially when I'm with a group of friends who like their margaritas and dessert. I need to find my willpower again and be committed to my goals. Time to take heed of one of my favorite quotes, "Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels." I hope I can remember that when faced with a menu full of burgers, fries, and pies tonight. I've done pretty well for breakfast and lunch today. Hopefully my evil whim won't make an appearance this evening and throw me off track.
