Hi all,

Wow. The number or supporting, helpful, comforting responses I got to my last blog about the creepy beyond-peeping tom experience I had was amazing.

I can't thank you enough. I was a little nervous, but I felt it was right and safe to post about my experience and feelings and I was proven right. Phew!

In a way, two creepy, awful strangers took something from me. Then, many other "strangers" (SP is all friends, really) gave something to me. That makes me feel like somethign right is going on in.

To update, I've been doing well. Yesterday it was a week since the incident. The day after I took the day off of work, and a friend came over to spend time with me. The first few nights after I definitely got up and looked out my window a lot in the night, feeling like I heard something. My landlord and his wife (who are also my neighbors) were incredibly kind and supportive when they heard what happened. My landlord came and re-enforced my windows the next day, after dark, on his wedding anniversary! That's pretty swell, if you ask me.
I definitely feel safe again in my house.

In other news, I did a couple of barefoot runs since my last blog. I ran last night and before that was Thursday. I have continued to feel great, and then last night, for some reason, it felt a lot more chafing, just to run on even grass. I have no idea why, since I've done this a number of times now. On the other hand, maybe that's WHY, my body is like, okay, we've done this like 5 times now, I'm gonna adjust. So today I have at least one blister on the front of my left foot, and they feel tender in a few other places.

I'm cool with it. I vividly remember when I was a little girl having MASSIVE blisters all over my palms, and you know what they led to? Awesome hands that could swing away for hours like a monkey with no pain.

The experiment continues!!

I've been thinking about you and hoping there were no repeat incidents. So glad that there haven't been, and that your landlord is awesome. I feel safer for you knowing they're right there.

Oh wow. I missed your other blog and just went back to read it. I'm so sorry that sick, weird thing happened to you. It sounds like your landlord is a standup guy and it's wonderful that he reinforced your windows. I'm glad you feel safe again. Be careful and call the cops if needed! You don't have to call 911. Most police departments have an office line that you can dial instead if you just want to report something that's not an emergency.
