August 8, getting back on track

Having recently moved back home to West Virginia to be near my family, I am finding that the beauty of home and the time spent with family and old friends are great motivators. These are some of the many views that continue to inspire me. I want to be healthy enough to walk the woods and hills as I did years ago. I want to be healthy enough to truly enjoy time with my family and friends. I want to be an example of getting back to health, so that I can inspire other family members to do the same. They are so dear to me, and I want them to be around and healthy for a good long time.
After sitting this morning with a cup of coffee to enjoy listening to the birds and watching the wind in the trees, I fixed a healthy breakfast and went through some of my workout dvds to decide what exercise to do today. I have already done some strength training and ten minutes of cardio, and added some stretches. Later on I will get in a good longer stretch of exercise.
I'm planning a healthy lunch, dinner and snack, and have a start on my water for the day. I have music going and will be doing some housecleaning shortly, in order to free up the rest of the day for enjoying a workout and some quality time with the people that I love.
