ok so I'm finally starting to feel better, thank goodness I was sick for almost 2 months. I took a week off work and then went to the cottage for the long weekend with my parents. and with all the time off and then the fresh air and all the swimming I did I'm finally starting to feel like my old self again. Still pretty weak and tired mind you lol, but yay!!!
the doctor did tell me I have fatty liver and I need to lose weight, on the right track anyway I lost 52 pounds while sick. I'm also taking an antacid every day, Pantaloc or something. I think it's helping too. he wants me to be on it for a year or so and in a couple months after I lose some more weight I need to go for some more blood tests to see how my liver is doing.
The important thing though is that I'm actually eating again, I just need to watch now so I don't start eating bad again. I need to control myself to keep my appetite at a more normal level and keep eating the right things.
I also plan to start swimming several times a week, there's this masters swim club I'm going to join in the fall, they close for the summer, and I plan to swim 3x a week. for now I'll just do the lap swims at the local pool and swimming at the cottage.
I'm also going to finally get started with the sparkpeople live meetings that I started paying for 2 months ago and haven't gone once since I got sick right afterwards lol.
I had a vacation planned this week with my friends, we've changed it to a weekend trip cus I've missed far too much work, and my boss may even give me friday off so we can at least have a long weekend. I'll be taking them to the cottage and I felt bad for having to cancel but I really couldn't take this week as vacation as I`ve worked very little the past 2 months.
