So there's been a lot going on lately but the biggest change has been my choice to move back down to South Florida. It's because of a few things, but it's a decision that was hard for me to make, but I'm confident and happy with my decision. I like Orlando, everyone here is super friendly, it's become home; but my heart and life still belong down south :)
I haven't been doing much of any cardio when I go to the gym. The times I go to the gym I've been focusing on strength training and I need to change that up. So I think I'm going to swap out my routine and do cardio 4 days a week and 2 days strength training.. or maybe I should split it down the middle (3/3)? Suggestions? In addition to changing my routine I'm going to be adding a daily Abs, Lunges, Push Ups to my life. Every morning (and maybe I'll add nights, too, but for sure morning) I'll do just a little routine with that. I haven't been giving it my all in these past couple of weeks because of personal things going on, so I have to step it up even more now.
I have been tanning and my belly is extremely pale and I need a bikini because these tan lines aren't cute! Especially I'll be moving back down south within a couple of weeks and the beach is calling my name, I'm ready to get that beach body even more! I also checked my body fat percentage, and I'm at 27% which is considered "acceptable", which is awesome! However, it's not acceptable to me, it's nice to see that it's considered an acceptable number. I did some numbers (although my math might be off) and it's telling me that my current goal of 144 should put me at a much better body fat percentage, but we'll see... I'm still thinking 139 might be a good number. I need to stop changing my goal and get to my goal before I change it again lol! On a positive note, I am 2lbs away from my original goal of 50lbs loss (155lbs).
OH YEAH!! So remember those white shorts that I had been trying to get into? That a few months ago they were so tight I couldn't even button them? Well, guess which girl wore them to her niece's 3rd birthday party!!? YUP! I can't believe it. Also, I went shopping at H&M and I kept picking up 12's because that's what I'm used to grabbing and all of the dresses were too big! I had to grab 10's (and some 8's, but that's merely because they have loose clothes and I like them a bit tighter) but I also tried on a pair of size 10 shorts and they fit! So that's SO THRILLING!
Let me know about the cardio and strength training, guys! :)
