I'm sitting here wearing the 5 inch heels I bought to wear for my son's wedding. I'm hoping if I wear them a bit every day, I won't fall off of them come the big day!! I'm a flip flop and running shoe girl, so this is a big change.
I've lost 30 lbs and regained my passion for the gym as I've been preparing for this wedding. My arms and shoulders are toned and my legs strong. I'm not just sitting back and accepting status quo during this homestretch. No sir! I'm going to kick my own butt these next 12 days. I WILL lift 5-6 days. I WILL run 5 days including a long run of 11 miles. On 'off" days, I will walk, swim, or bike. I WILL make my son proud that I'm his mother!! (I'm pretty sure he already is.)
My biggest challenge are food and alcohol. I tend to drink more in the summer and that does not help my weight loss!! Since I've been running and biking a lot more, my appetite is off the charts. I haven't made the best food choices and have given in to far too many dessert cravings. I've got just 12 more days. I can do anything for 12 days, right?
