Family for over a month, almost over.

Monday, August 06, 2012

I have 5 days to go before it is all over. My man and I home alone again. Sad but good also. I have had a hard time with all the goodies around. I have had a bite or two but in moderation. I have not got on the scale yet. I haven't measured yet either. I see the doctor when I get back from vacation.
We bringing my daughter home to Pullman WA. We leave Tuesday and I come back with my man on Friday ASAP before our daughter finds more things for us to do. That is why we are staying two nights to help her set up her room.

I have done good without much binging. I have lots of X's on the calendar for no binging. I see four days with binging. That is 48 days without binging. With having family from TX. for a month and our daughter home for 6 weeks that is doing good for me.

I have been doing more walking with my pedometer on. With both hips replaced now as of 01-31-12 for the left and 5-11-11 for the right I'm doing great. I still have problems with my left knee so I'm not to speedy and I can't go to far at one time with my back.
I would love to walk with someone from Vancouver, WA. but I'm afraid of slowing them down. I walk for 5 minutes and I have to sit down because my back is aching with all this weight and a cyst in the lower back.
The challenge that I had will my sister-in-law was here was to keep up with her at Sat, market in Vanc. WA. and in Portland, Or. Sun. That was fun but I told her I didn't want to slow her down so go ahead of me. She stayed ahead of my only part of the time. It was nice to have her stay by my side at my speed. We had a great time on a sunny day and not to hot.
That was the most I walk in one day for years. It felt great.

Company is nice but it is also nice when they go home after an extended stay.

Great job on so many days not binging!

Letting your body tell you when it needs to rest and when you can go further is very smart of you. Take care!
