Flexibility is getting better

It's Monday which means I get very little sleep. I got home last night around 2330hrs and made it to bed around midnight. At 0430, the alarm told me it was time to head out the door for the morning walk.

I slammed down some no-name water and went out in the 80F weather and did the 2.3 miles in 30 minutes. A quick shower, a clothes change, and I headed out the door looking for the golden arches.

I usually always eat at home but today I got scrambled eggs in the drive-thru and ate once I got to the office. The drive-thru also affords me the luxury of a cup of coffee which I don't make at home. I never have done coffee at home; probably never will. It just seems too much trouble to me.

Now that I'm at the office, I'll start my bench press and crunch sets. Also, for those of you who are flexibility-impaired (insert chuckle here), take note. Since I started the extra flexibility sets, I can now bend forward and place my finger tips on the floor and HOLD that position without strain, proving that this too can improve with consistency. Yipee!!!

    Flexibility does improve with regular stretching. You will be amazed what you might be able to do this time next year
