So today I increased my cals for the day and let me tell you I had such a difference in my feeling today then when I ate the lower cals. I always thought weight loss was eating less food and losing weight that way. However with a heavy workout program like insanity I am learning I need fuel to fuel my body.
For a while I was eating around 400 cals a meal five times a day and was starving between each meal. Today I ate 500 cals a meal making sure I got protein with each meal and I was fine. I ate every 2 hours which kept me going. I'm finding myself a bit hungry tonight since my last snack of the day was only around 200 cals. I however take meds at night and need to eat less for that last snack. I just sip on my water until bed time and know that I'll be getting food in the morning.
I have also cut caffeine out of my diet. I'm on day 4 now and I'm missing it a little. Not as bad as the other days. I more miss it as a little boost to make it though a bad day at work. I"m sure I get use to that though.
