Gym bag

Tomorrow morning I am packing a gym bag. It has been a long while since I have been able to exercise. Last Friday I came back from the doctor and got the thumbs up that my chest infection is almost clear…but that I could start with light exercise. It has been a long few months as I had pneumonia which took 4 months to clear followed by a few bronchitis episodes. I hope I do not have to see another antibiotic and cortisone tablet for years to come.

Exercise is not my favorite activity, but it also not my worst. What I am not looking forward to is feeling out of breath and having to catch my breath….in a way I am glad to be able to start with light exercises.

What goes in the gym bag?
Walking sneakers, cotton socks, water bottle, stretch pants, cotton TShirt, towel and shower soap . Oh a positive attitude and exercise plan. The plan will be limited to 10 min of rowing, squats, arm weights and 10 min walking.

Don’t forget the bag !

    Glad to hear that you have your doctor's go ahead to start exercising! What did your doctor say is "light exercise"? I am not sure that your plan is very "light" LOL Take care of yourself :-) emoticon
