Weekly progress report: Week 2
Very excited! I lost another 3.2 lbs this week. Yes I know it isn't healthy to lose more than two pounds a week and my losses will slow down. At this point I'm just going with it. I figure I'm still in the learning phase and have to find out what works for me.
Still walking the 5k trail but not as many times as I wanted. I started the Coach Nicole Bootcamp video
but somehow got derailed and only completed the first workout day. This week I'll focus on getting back to that. It's pretty hot outside so it's hard to get my husband motivated to go walk with me in the evening. I find that if I try to tackle that much walking alone It just isn't as enjoyable and I'm more likely to skip most of it, lol.
Still drinking plenty of water and really trying to make all of my meals balanced. I continue to struggle with breakfast. Some of you mentioned smoothies and I'd like to get back to making those. I used to make a green smoothie with almond milk, spinach, yogurt, banana and whatever frozen fruit I had on hand. I loved it but to be honest I really hate to have to use the bathroom constantly from all of the liquid.
I've had a few non scale victories as well. I noticed that my shorts are fitting much better and my stomach seems to have deflated a little bit. I'll measure myself again in a couple weeks to see how many inches I've lost.
