Another great day in Eastern Arizona exploring the area. This morning we went on a nice hike near the campground and then drove out to Big Lake to have lunch, which was about 25 miles or so from our campground. It was a stunning area to drive through - lots of trees, gigantic mountain meadows with loads of wildflowers - and we didn't have any rain until we got very close to the lake. So we ate in the car but still enjoyed the meal and the company!

After lunch, we drove over to the Hon-Dah casino on the nearby Apache reservation. Tom and LINDAKAY228 went inside to gamble for a bit while I stayed in the car with the dogs and caught up with some computer work [my choice - I don't really like casinos much and I'm not a gambler so was very happy with this arrangement]

On the drive back, we explored a few other areas, little towns and areas we hadn't been to before so that was fun. All 3 of us have an adventurous side and like doing some exploring up this road and that one over there so it was fun for everyone!

Back at camp, we cooked up some salmon, DH took the dogs out for a run and now we're all winding down the day, getting ready for bed and another fun adventure tomorrow!

Yes, I promise pictures but that will have to wait until I have more time and a better connection - maybe another week when we get home. Sorry but I'm taking quite a few so I promise to post them when I can.
