We were on the go at 6am this morning to pick up my son from camp in the mountains. We drove 1/2way to a hotel last night, but left too early for the hot breakfast. We found a Starbucks. I had a back-up banana and some nuts to add to my nonfat tea latte in case they only had pastries. Then, I made a great find! They have a Goat Cheese and Veggie Bistro Box. I ususally try to get in some veggies with breakfast, so it was perfect. It had green and yellow peppers, green beans and cucumber, whole grain crackers, tatzaki dip and goat cheese. 220 calories, 10 grams of proteins, 24 carbs. Way better than the pastry. My hubby had a pastry for WAY more calories. By 9:30 am, he was starving and I was chipper and satisfied. LOL!
