Any Advice?

This week I struggled a bit. I think I'm in an exercise rut. I eat mostly the correct calories, though. Lately, however, I haven't been motivated to exercise and I've been really wanting to snack. Changing my lifestyle was really easy at first but now it's getting harder for me to tell myself that those chips or that hamburger is going to hurt me. My brain wants it. I need advice.

For exercise, I've been doing (well not the last two weeks so much) 4 times a week running and on off days at least 10 minutes of some other exercise. The results from this have been great and I'm training for a half marathon in December so it's also necessary. On the off days I generally do a 6 week 6 pack or weight loss yoga video. But I've been doing the same routine for the last 3 months. Does anyone have any workout suggestions? I know that I must need to change up my routine to help the motivation slump.

After tracking my food. I've noticed that my desire to snack on foods that don't fit into my lifestyle has become a problem. My protein tends to be lower than recommended on some days and I'm wondering if this might be part of that? I'm not vegetarian but it seems that If I choose two recipes from the spark cookbook to eat each day, my protein just tends to be lower. Also, I watch tv while I eat my dinner and I've noticed that when I watch tv in general now, I want to snack. I enjoy it but I know it's not good for me. I'm going to kiss the tv dining goodbye. As for snacks in general, what are some of your favorite snacks?

I really want to be successful. I'm only 0.6 of a pound from the halfway mark. I really want it this week.

    We all learn to make little adjustments along the way and sometimes we have to struggle a little bit to find the next step. Just keep looking, keep trying, and you'll find it.

    Best advice I can give you:

Switch up your routine on off days. Sometimes its just going for a 2 mile walk :)
