Okay, so we only ended up playing 5 games, here is the breakdown:

Yahtzee (6 rounds). Brad: 1682, Grace: 1381. Okay, he kicked my arse.

Monopoly Deal: Brad won 1 hand, I won 2. Burn, sucka!

Dominos: (scores like golf) Brad: 49, Grace: 37. Take that!

Life: Brad: 1,585,000 Grace: 1,680,000. Oooooohhhh, SNAP!

Rummy: Brad: 720, Grace: 1030. *does the Chandler dance*

That means I won 4/5 games. THE CHAMP IS HERE!!


Actually, we had a really nice night. We declared it at-home date night, so Brad actually changed out of PJs into my favorite t-shirt and shorts combo he has (I was already in tank and shorts). We hid our cell phones, played a few games, made dinner together (alright, roast pork, mashed potatoes and boiled carrots is a weird summer dinner, but it was tasty!!), played more games, and then made dessert (apples baked with brown sugar and granola, served with peanut butter gelato). I was only allowed to go on Spark for 2 seconds just to track food. We were going to watch a movie before bed, but I was way too tired (having only had 3 hours of sleep after a night shift that morning).

Today, Brad has been working, and I spent my day shopping! (Literally from 8am-4pm, minus 1 hour for Zumba class, 15 minutes for an eyebrow wax, and a half hour to shower). Brad approved me $30 to buy a new sundress or skirt (remember, we do all planned budgeting together, when I want an impulse item or a "just because" we hash out an amount to spend before taxes).

I found two I LOVE at Old Navy, each $25. And I can't decide. Honestly I started crying and had to leave the mall (that's for you Erin, Winnie-the-Pooh whaaa???). Brad is out of cell range today for work, so I couldn't try to suck up over texting. Soooo he'll be off work in a half hour or so, I'll pick him up and force him to come to the mall to choose one. Or see how redonculously hot I look in both of them and maybe change his mind.

After all, we are taking a vacation in September I will want breezy dresses for *and* dresses are the most versatile clothing item that will expand pretty well all the way to full-term. Just add a cardi in the winter!
