Off the pot and starting to journal my food!
Okay, I know that success stories about weight loss VERY often including keeping track of what's eaten. And I did that for a while through Spark earlier this year. I find it kind of cumbersome because I do most of my own cooking and food preparation, so there's a lot of work to enter something the first time.
BUT--I haven't lost weight all year. And I need to drop some weight. That's the challenge.
The success I'm building on is that I'm exercising VERY well and very consistently.
And it's come to my attention that LOSING weight is about eating less. KEEPING it off is about exercise.
And I have to admit that I do a lot of mindless snacking in between meals and "official" snacks. I think that's what I'll need to address to keep the weight off. I'm pretty sure that my "official" foods are just about right for weight loss.
So, starting today, I'm listing food. I'll give myself permission sometimes just to list it without all of the other information, just so it gets noted.
Okay here goes!
