Yesterday I took a day to rest after the deck of cards work out. I was pooped from it! I have stepped up my work out a bit though. I cut one of my rest periods in half when I was doing it and have a much better form than I used to. I've also started jumping or bouncing when I do the T-Bone. One of these days I'm going to have to do a youtube blog video thing and show everyone what these exercises are. I don't think that I am explaining them very well.
Tonight's walk/jog was nice...ish. I wasn't feeling great and for some reason I wanted to throw up at one point so I cut back to just walking. My dog actually did the same thing but I think she actually inhaled water through her nostrils. She kept trying to stop at every water puddle, every tree, every rock, and anything else that suddenly caught her attention. I kind of appreciated the break from the jog but at the same time, when the dog suddenly stops and yanks me backwards so she can investigate another dogs urine it makes for a difficult run. I was surprised she didn't take my entire arm off when the rabbit bounced off in the woods to our left. We are still getting our jogging synchronized I guess.
Now for the greatest news of the day. My baby girl took three steps all on her own today! Her daddy was helping her stand and then she took three steps to me. I think if I had stood a little bit further she would've walked anymore. I can't believe how big she is getting, I'm even getting a little teary eyed now. Her first birthday is coming up and I am so mixed with emotions. I love her so much and am so proud of her I really can't put it into words. I'm also a little sad to see her growing so fast, it really does go in a flash. I'm not sure what to do for her first birthday but I want it to be amazing. I think we are going to keep it somewhat low-key, but there are so many people that love her and I want to share this special day with all the wonderful people who have supported us through this first year of parenthood. Wow! Almost a year already!!
Well I should get off of here and update her baby book while it is still fresh. I have some studying to do tonight too. I have a couple of exciting kitchens I am working on at work and I am very eager to ace my AKBD test.
