Well hardly - the prospect of a five hour car drive (which actually turned into seven) led me to an early session. I ran the circuit twice easing my wounds and reminding my legs what they are there for. I then finished the body weight exercises all with good form.
The holiday was good. Two exhausted/happy kids - plenty of memories. Both my diet and training changed a lot over the last two weeks but the changes shouldn't have been detrimental.
A long drive and the prospect of home training for a month. I'll break out te weights in preparation fr the new traing programme I've been working on. The autumn session is hard work wise and gym will be limited to three hours a week. The "Zen routine" is almost complete..
I must admit to missing the weights. Pullups kinda satisfied me but it's only when you're on the edge of your lifting limit that you get the "weights rush".
Weighday is this Sunday. I'm moving over to home scales. I have an expensive Tanita set left over and I need to create a monthly habit of using them. I had 3.5 pounds to lose over four weeks to make my target set in December.
Whatever the scales say is irrelevant. My body fat looks a little too high (I'm sure I've got abs in there somewhere !) so I'll be on a slow cut whatever they say.
