So one week from today I will be 28...which I have mixed feelings about. I'll be honest, most of those feelings are anxiety about getting older - but it is also motivational to really start facing some things I have been struggling with, mainly my weight and lifestyle habits.
I've been back and forth with my weight since I was a teenager and have not been able to get back the body I once had because I find it hard to stay away from alcohol and tempting food. Most of the time I eat pretty healthy, but skip the gym WAY too much and make acceptions for a drink or 5 WAY too often.
So I want to start 28 off the right way - with a week's head start to really get myself in the game seriously this time. Of course I will allow myself to drink for my birthday and have some cake too...but if I can lose a few pounds to get me off to a good start I think it will make the stress of getting older feel like something a lot more positive! WISH ME LUCK!!!
