Last week I finally reached my goal of 150 fitness minutes in a week through a combination of Jillian Michaels workouts and spinning classes! It felt good and it motivated me to eat healthy too, so I felt like I was in the zone.
But this week, I don't know what happened. I didn't have enough energy to work out, my school obligations continued (as always), and for some reason I was craving sugar. My roommates had done some baking, and I felt compelled to eat cake at nearly every opportunity. Where did my willpower go?
I think a lot of it had to do with not getting enough sleep. My internship starts very early some days, and I'm not used to (or a fan of) waking in the pre-6AM hours. I really hope my next placement involves a later schedule, or that I can at least manage my time better. After all that, I'm afraid to get back on the scale. Well, tomorrow is another day.
